Anderston Matters Local Place Plan - GDPR Statement

Reorient Places will be the holder and controller of data gathered during the Local Place Plan process. Personal data gathered will be for the purpose of the LPP process only and shared with The Pyramid and Anderston CC. The data gathered and held will be for the purpose of understanding who is participating in the process and providing updates on any relevant events or news related to the LPP.

Reorient Places will hold the data for up to 3 months following the successful registration of the Local Place Plan with Glasgow City Council.

Introduction

Anderston Matters is a Local Place Plan project, run by Reorient Places on behalf of The Pyramid at Anderston and Anderston Community Council. Your privacy is critically important to us. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect your personal data when you respond during the engagement process.

Data Controller

Reorient Places Director, Iain MacPherson is the data controller responsible for any personal data collected through this process.

What Data We Collect

We may collect the following personal data:

  • Email addresses

  • Names

  • Postcodes

  • Demographic data (e.g. age, ethnicity, disability)

How We Collect Your Data

You directly provide Reorient Places with most of the data that will be collected. We collect data when you:

  • Complete an engagement survey (online, hardcopy)

  • Complete a place check or place standard survey (online, hardcopy)

  • Fill out a contact form

  • Register for an event or webinar

How We Use Your Data

Reorient Places collects your data so that we can:

  • Send you newsletters and updates

  • Respond to your inquiries

  • Provide information about the Local Place Plan

  • Analyse responses to produce the Local Place Plan

  • Understand who has taken part in the Local Place Plan.

Data gathered as set out above would be shared with The Pyramid and Anderston CC.

Legal Basis for Processing

The legal basis for processing your personal data is your consent, which you provide when you submit your email address and/or name and/or postcode.

Data Retention

We will retain your personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. Data will be securely held for 6 months following successful registration of the Local Place Plan with Glasgow City Council. Personal data will then be destroyed.
